We wish a fond farewell to the ITWaterCooler....

The Canadian Red Cross - Ontario Zone would like to acknowledge two extraordinary volunteers:

We would like to recognize Jerry Mings and Michael Budd for their voluntary services and contribution in the creation and maintenance of the ITWaterCooler.  The project lead by Jerry Mings in the early 2000s started as a tool for Master Instructor Trainers to receive up-to-date information within their Water Safety community.  Jerry had the vision for a large scale roll out to all Injury Prevention trainers zone-wide.  In 2005, the site was redesigned and updated by Michael Budd who has maintained the site and helped grow it regular and mass use by trainers across the province.  In its prime, the ITWaterCooler was the place for all trainers and instructors to keep in touch with the latest injury prevention news, teaching strategies, and documents.    The "watercooler" has enabled us at Ontario Zone to keep in touch with our delivery partners, as well as Leadership Trainers over the years and through program changes.  Jerry and Michael created a tool that became the envy of many other Zones.  We are grateful and extend a very special thank you for their generous contribution of precious time and expertise.

Following our commitment to best serve our Red Cross customers, our national websites are accessible by our Red Cross Training Partners, Red Cross Instructor Trainers, and Red Cross Instructors.
